I love this place!! My cousin first introduced me to Cafe Crepe when they were new to Freeport as she was employed by the owner. Needless to say, I instantly fell in love. Cafe Crepe is located in the "Marketplace" conjoined alongside Amato's and two other delicious stands including Frias Taco Bar and Karmasouptra (both of which I've also tried and get 5 stars as well). There is an amicable ambiance here and plenty of seating. (It's kind of cafeteria style but way better than cafeteria food!)
I have only tried and continue to only order The Roma which is a savory crepe filled with mozzarella, spinach, tomato, basil and an olive tapenade. While the olive tapenade is a tasty olive-y paste, it is a bit too much for me, so I choose to leave it out.
I have eaten crepes with others and they have gotten the Tom Jack and the Club which I've tried - also AMAZING! You really can't go wrong with a crepe... especially from here! It has influenced me to get my own crepe machine - I still haven't gotten one, hence why I proceed to take my business here!!
Go here for your next lunch or dinner and I promise you will be more than impressed! -

My friend and I came here craving something savory but not too heavy, so this was a good pick. I had the turkey with pepper jack crepe and she had the goat cheese with spinach and balsamic one. Mine was PERFECT, a great mix of the ingredients and not too heavy, but it filled me up. She was less than pleased with hers because there was too much spinach and not much else in it so it was more like a salad. The flavors were still good though.

This Is my crepe from Cafe Crepe in Freeport ME and its called a ham "melt", but the cheese inside of it was shredded cold and hard. Also the ham inside of it was freezing cold. When I received my crepe I looked inside of it and like I said, it was full of cold ham and cold unsalted hard cheese, I went up to the counter and asked for it to be heated and the lady behind the counter said sounding very confused, "but the cheese is already in it...". Other than that the crepe itself was good.

Not impressed. Cafeteria type atmosphere.
Visiting from Rhode Island and tried this place because I absolutely love crepes.
Poor quality batter, dry and burnt crepe - mine was filled with fruit (not diced at all.. just chunks.. the more cut up pieces in my photo are from my doing).
Had half,
tossed the rest. Worth a shot if you're starving and desperate.
